Kitsch Cheese Studio LLC is an independent animation studio founded by DevLunar. Our studio was formed during the production of Motley’s Mathhouse (2022-) as we began to introduce more paid opportunities. The current team consists of students, freelancers, and hobbyists all coming together to work on this show.

Motley's Mathhouse

Motley’s Mathhouse is an indie animated horror series about the corruption of an educational computer game and the secrets behind it. The series was created by DevLunar in 2022, beginning as the passion project of a high schooler and a helpful group of strangers on the internet.

Our mission is to produce animated content that we’ll enjoy making and you’ll enjoy watching. We believe in the talent of young new artists and hope to create job opportunities for those struggling to get their foot in the door. We take a strong pro-artist and anti-AI stance.

If you’re interested in joining the Motley crew, that’s fantastic! However, do keep in mind that our show and studio are still working with limited funding. Our paid positions are treated as cheap, one-time gigs, rather than genuine part-time jobs. When applications open, we will include the current pay rate.If you’re interested in sharing an idea for a new series, stay tuned! We’re planning to accept pitches in the future so we can assist another creator in developing a free animatic pilot. We will announce when we are ready to accept pitches, so until then, please hang onto your private work and wait patiently (no unsolicited scripts, please).
